Hi.

Fridge model above. When selecting 12v the front panel emits a buzzing sound.
To be honest it sounds like a very tired warning buzzer rather than a relay although I have known relays to make strange noises.

Only started yesterday .

makes the noise when engine running or not.

Van is Burstner and fridge will draw 12v without engine running.

obviously fuses are about to be checked, but need to translate elektrobloc as it's all in German

I've read about the relays failing but they seem to point to a buzzing relay at the lower fan vent but this is defo being the control panel

So everything on the van wiring checks out.

red circle is permanent 12v and 0v and third wire becomes 12v when engine running.

Blue circle is 12v power and + goes to relay.

Yellow circle is relay and the two white wires feeding the coil do not have 12v when selected from the fridge control so seems like the fridge is not switching the 12v to the relay and then setting it's own buzzer off

I'm not overly concerned as I could rig a switch up to bypass the relay and do it manually.

Are there any fuses etc in the control panel?

Fridge works (as well as it can in S-France temps) on gas and electric so dont want to risk the fridge working by taking things apart further.

Any pointers from past experiences?

well you learn somethings new every day!

Switch fan to 12v and while buzzing linked +12 to D+ and heard clicking from elektroblok.

wiggle a few wires there and all working ok now.

will look closer when I get back, noticed the yellow plastic insulation around the feeds to the elektroblok look a little burnt up. Gave them a clean up. Will keep eyes on it

We had a problem with the connections on the gas spark box top right in your bottom pic.
It was the multi wire connections I rewired with new connectors.
