Hi, (help!)
We've managed to crack the top hinged window in the lounge area. It's a Dometic window of 400x600.

Can anybody advise if just the pane itself can be bought and replaced? And, if possible recommend where from.

Also, anybody tell me if the pane literally just slots into the top 'blade' or is it glued in there?

It's our 2007 N&B Flair 8000

Thanks

I had similar problem with our Hymer, cracked window.
I went the route of an insurance claim as all windows are covered on my policy. Worth checking yours as a start.
I had a search around & there is a company that will make you a replacement from your old unit. Can't remember them off hand. Still costly though.
I ordered mine direct from Hymer( N & B part of group) cost from memory was just under £500, insurance picked up the tab less excess.
Replacement is easy. Disconnect stays from window & lift it up & open through 90 degrees. Then just slide to one side or the other from the channel. Replacement the reverse. New window came with stays & catches.

I bought mine from

Cheapest I could find, I payed £280 for a 1300x600 S7z window pane only.
Does you N&B have the sliding lock in the frame.

Thanks
Yes, sliding lock system.

Thanks for answering above regarding replacement slide out/in.

Crack is at the top and a bit has chipped. So we have some water in there.... I've put a bit of tape over it from the outside so it doesn't end up looking like a fish bowl (it's been hammering down for hours).

Can ECCO do the exact like for like with the inside fittings for the sliding mech?

I have messaged them through their website

When I was looking, Ecco was dearer than I payed and 8 weeks to make and they need yours as a template.
Similar waiting time from uk leisure but at least you still have your window. The window comes with new lock lever and struts.
The window is measured by the hole in body and not the pane size.
Has yours got the size on window.
They’re easy to fit, just take struts of and lift up more than 90’ and it slides out, they have a small pin on the left that stops the window sliding in normal use.

ECCO would want your old unit as pattern. You can get an estimate from their website but you have to factor in delivery cost both ways I think. That's why I went for original as cost difference was minimal & the hashing / tinting on the edge couldn't be guaranteed.

I couldn't get an off the shelf replacement new or from a breaker so had a large side window made by EECO using mine as a pattern which fitted perfectly @c£500. I used my existing struts and catches.
If anyone's interested and looking them up it's EECO not ECCO.

Got exactly the same issue, Dometic no longer make my size which is bigger than yours , Really annoys me that 12 years old and I know fitted to much newer MH’s no longer made or available through manufacturer of both window or MH 🙁

going down the Eeco option but not fancying no window for 2 months, hope they might have made an identical one and kept the records 👍

good luck with yours, they do come out easily to empty but I drilled two small holes in the bottom as it fills quickly in a U.K. summer 🤔
