We have a small oven above the Dometic fridge / freezer. Until recently it worked reasonably well but toward the end of our last trip (11 weeks) it started to exhibit low yellow tipped flames. All other gas powered items (Alde boiler, gas hob, etc.) are working well so I assume the gas supply is okay. I have heard that these ovens are not the best of equipment and would agree but this seems to be a new problem. Any thoughts?

I think this may mean the combustion process is not taking place properly (wrong mix of gas and air) and requires regulating. Or it could be a piece of crud in the way of the flame.

You may have a bit of fluff or something of that nature in the inlet tube on the burner, you could try blasting it with a can of air duster that sometimes shifts small debris.(y)

Yellow flame = lack of air.
Look for something that could be obstructing the passage of air into the gas flow, before it gets to the burner.

Thanks Funsters. When I can dig my way to the van I will start by giving the area a good vacuum.
