Sorry previous post was RFM not RMF.
Has anybody got a Dometic RMF 8505 fridge? Ours is fitted to a 2017 Autotrail Delaware S and the fans that cool the lower fridge draw are so noisy that we have to switch the fans off at night rendering the fridge useless.

They only should be working when the weather is very hot. Suggest you get your dealer to adjust them under warranty. In the meantime if you switch them off at night I do not think that would render the fridge useless, unless there is another problem with it.

They sound like evaporator fans. If you switch them off the evaporator ices up, usually.

No they are not evaporator fans or only operate in high temps, they provide cool air from the main fridge to the draw fridge below and need to run continuously.
Was hoping somebody else would have this unit and could advise me on there findings.

Are they square brushless DC axial fans like computer fans? If so you maybe able to get lower wattage ones, the cheaper ones are usually lower wattage.
