Good evening:thumb:
I have just returned from a 8 week trip away with work.
During this time the van has been parked up as normal on the drive hooked up.
I always turn the fridge off and leave the door open to avoid any nasty life forms growing while i am away. On my return this morning i switched the fridge to 230v and left it for a couple of hours to become cool. when i returned and opened the door i was met with a horrible smell/Gas which stung the eyes and burnt the nostrils if you whiffed it. Smelt like Amonia i think. Is this part of the fridges cooling gas?? I cant see the back of the fridge for an inspection of connections so lost for ideas really. I turned it off straight away and needed a lie down as i know this is going to cost me big bucks me thinks.
Any ideas or passed experiences???
