Dometic RM6271 fridge problem (1 Viewer)

Have just joined the site and am new to these forums so hope I am in the right place to ask this question - if not please let me know.
Am a new motorhome owner and have just purchased a Bessacarr E425 on an 04 plate.
My question is: - when selecting the fridge to run on gas, it lights ok and stays lit BUT the auto ignition light / spark ignitor still keeps going. Any suggestions as to how to cure this would be appreciated

Your problem seems very much like one that was the subject of a recent thread. As I'm no expert probably the best thing to recommend is that you look at the answers to Broken Link Removed.

Not really familiar with that model but it sounds as if the spark ignition box is faulty, not your exact model but see here

Looks likely to be the ignitor box.
