Dometic replacement remote issues

Hey all. First timer poster here!

We had to replace our Dometic Aircon Remote with a new one. However, the new ones doesn't register and the aircon won't turn on. The model is a B2200. Can anyone help?

Inside the battery compartment there are 4 switches. Check that the new remote has them set the same.
BTW I have a B2200 remote on sale in the classified ads.

Incidentally, if the switches are not the issue most smartphone cameras can detect the infrared signal coming out.
Just look at the emitter with the phone camera and press a button. You should see a grey colour.

Thanks all for your replies. So I couldn't find an exact replacement remote so got one which said would work with my air con unit. It doesn't have any switches like the old broken one.

I've done the camera thing and it's a purple light showing?
