Dometic OV 1800 won’t light.

Anyone familiar with this problem. I press and hold the igniter button and get a spark and flame, as soon as I release the button the flame goes out. Hob works ok just this pathetic little oven grill doesn’t. Worked fine one day failed the next. Thanks.

Is the thermocouple loose ? Thats the little probe that sticks into the flame, sometimes they vibrate loose and are slightly out of line.
Exactly what happened with our grill. Less than an 8th of a turn to tighten.

Check with a COLD grill.

Found the last inch of burner was not lighting after much faffing got that alight giving heat to the thermocouple then the oven stayed on. Could not believe suppliers are selling this oven for £800 plus.
