we are having problems with Dometic fridge 15 mths old. Out wilding st he moment and It has stopped refrigerating on LPG. The gas burner is working and thermostat is up full. If the thermostat has failed is there an over ride so the fridge would get cold

Could be crap fallen across the burner. You need a good blue flame, take off the vent and look inside.
You could try sniffing the top vent, any smell will suggest bad flame.
If so, take cover off burner and give a good blow, bicycle pump?

The other thing to remember is that these fridges are very sensitive to being operated with the vehicle level. Our fridge works fine normally but, when parked on a relative's drive last year, with only a 4-5 degree slope, we got absolutely no refrigeration on gas. Mails electric worked fine, but gas refused to work until we levelled the Moho.

Indeed flat and level at the NEC car park today now sitting car park Stratford upon Avon and no fridge. Worked perfect on EHU for the last week so obviously thermostat working okay. So some thing to do with the gas flame and whatever happens to that. Flame burning blue. No idea what the flame does !!!

If you are in a hot place, 30c+ you should turn DOWN the thermostat to half way, otherwise it can be self defeating and actually interfere with the cooling process.
The flame is what heats up the freezer/fridge, otherwise you can use electric to do the same thing, oddly, it is this heat that produces the cold you want in the fridge.
Grit dust and bits of rust can fall onto the flame, making it yellow but generally interfering with its efficiency. If this happens, an airline or bike pump may be able to remove the offending objects.

All sorted last night with the good advice from many above. Got pump out and gave it a blow then turned the thermostat down to half and the fridge kicked in. Wish it was 30* but was sat in wet and wild NEC then Stratford upon avon car park

Depending on what model of frig; some have spiral deflectors "swirlers" in the flue, the idea of which is to slow the gas and impart more heat to the Liquid, which is then cooled before being sent to the evaporator, where the gasses separate and in so doing take heat from the interior of the frig; (Thermal transfer). The flue "rusts" and the flakes of rust and debris have the effect of making the heat transfer less efficient and when driving especially on uneven ground can be displaced and deposited on the burner. The overall effect is a loss of efficiency, to the extent that little "cooling" takes place. A good periodic clean of the burner and a blast down the flue with an airline can help a lot!. On OLD early fridges the flue could be cleaned with a long bottle brush or similar, as they had removable "swirlers" or non at all!.
