I am after another 2 door trays for a large Dometic Fridge freezer.

They slide down on moulded runners in the door.

Does anyone have any idea who might stock them please?:thumb:

Hi Steve

Parc Verger was great, we have not been able to get out and about this weekend.
Weather here has been horrible so not missed out on too much.
Sounds like you all had a good weekend.

Apart from the Saturday Night Monsoon....:Rofl1:The daytime weather has been great.Kids loved it on the beach and visiting the Seals and other places.

Vans going well so we must be making progress.:thumb:

Bought a freeview aerial from ebay and it was brilliant.Nice to find things that actually work well nowadays.

Anyone used them before?

Emailed them details of what I'm after so hopefully they can supply.:thumb:
Have you used them in the past?

Cheers Brisey.

I've used the Ashbridge people. They replied very quickly with a link to a PDF spares list for my fairly old Electrolux fridge(17 ish years.). It turned out that it wasn't exactly the same model but when I looked at the diagrams I was sure that the gas thermostat was the same. Ashbridge weren't convinced... but were prepared to sell me the part but told me that I would be unable to return it under any circumstances (I thought that a bit mean....). However, it did fit so I was chuffed. So, overall, a rapid responce to my initial email enquiries and then very rapid delivery of the parts but with a somewhat unflexible approach to returns. I'd recommend them especially as they sent me a illustrated parts list which I hadn't been able to find anywhere else.

I've still not received an email reply from them, but a lady on this site has been invaluable with her help and sourcing the parts.

Just a quick thank you for all at Carafit Caravan service @ Llanelli for getting the parts to me so efficiently.

Lovely to eventually speak to you too Eileen.

Hopefully we can get over there to Cwmcuttan some time soon.:thumb:

Cheers for now,

Steve.

Hi monaco

I'm after a new door tray if you've still got any spare

steely

Have you PM'd them Steph?

Good luck.

Mine had broken lugs where they slot onto the door mouldings.

As it goes, the replacements were very reasonably priced.:thumb:

Try this link, Link Removed

I have used them a couple of times, you have to search for the parts but they carry over 1,000,000 items so there's a good chance they'll have what you want.

Hello Zebra, I've just been made aware of your post and felt you deserved a reply to it as it was probably myself who you spoke to on the phone.

The schematic diagrams we have are 'universal' to many thousands of fridges, regardless of age or size. That's why even if the part may look the same on the diagram, the actual part may look totally different. As you can appreciate, we want the customer's appliance to work, because a working appliance means we have done our job properly, but it is a tough call sometimes when working over the telephone. That's why in your situation, I may not have been that convinced your appliance may still not have worked.

As for the unflexable approach to returns. This may not apply directly to you so please don't take this the wrong way but please understand this from Ashridge Domestic Appliances side. We have a 'no returns policy' because we found that some customers were purchasing parts, trying to fit them, then sending them back after realising that they purchased the wrong part. We are not to know it the part has been damaged during fitting and we could be held liable for then selling a second hand part to someone else.

I am pleased that end of this, that your fridge is working and glad to be of service to you in the future.

Best regards
Pete@ashbridge
