Dometic CTS 4110 Cassette Toiledt

After somewhat bumpy travels in Ireland, having arrived home thought I'd give the cassette a good clean - lovely job . Having cleaned the outside - simple - I turned my attention to the inside and eventually managed to remove the slider etc to get my hand in. There had been a bit of a rattle and I found the float had broken away.

I've got a price to purchase a new one but neither Dometic nor Leisurespares can provide any assistance in fitting it. So, has anyone done this and, if so, how?

Thanks for the swift reply Alex. Unfortunately, for me, Dometic doesn’t feature mainly Thetford.

Float duly fitted and operational.
Now, the opening valve (toilet emptying valve in the manual) is very stiff despite silicone grease etc. I have removed the valve from the tank, checked the seals - both OK - cleaned as best possible all accessible parts but, it still requires a lot of effort to operate.

Anyone got any ideas as to how to overcome this problem and no, we don’t carry a spade - and don’t intend to
