I have a Swift Bessacarr 454 that I purchased new in March 17.
The Hotplate on the Dometic cooker has ceased to function although there is power at the 13 amp socket and running up the supply cable until it disappears behind the cooker ( my little current detecting gadget tells me). There is no LED illumination next to the Hotplate on/off knob when turned on. Simple bad connection maybe?
It's a 300 mile round trip back to the suppliers and that could also involve a second journey if parts need to be ordered.
The supplier has been helpful and given me a list of contacts in my area, but all have not been at all helpful and I've drawn a blank.
I'm a pretty competent DIY'r and think I'll take the cooker out myself and check it out. Has anyone else had this problem and how easy is it to remove the cooker? Help!!
