Our remote has packed in for our B2200 roof air con. Have tried all the stockists and not got any in stock.

Was wondering if anybody has one hanging around,

If not, has anybody got a work around for a universal all in one remote. Bought one and can`t get it to work properly.

Cheers

Sid

Says it does B2200👍

Len and I are on first name terms as I have asked him so many questions about what is suitable for the B2200.
The one I need is out of stock.

I know this won’t help you now but I’ve got 2 of the large Heki roof windows which are controlled by remote control to open and close them and a replacement remote is close to €150 so before they break I bought a smart IR blaster (smart life/tuya) and using their DIY procedure I copied each action (open/close) on each of the remotes and now use my phone to open/close them and keep the remotes hidden away.

Another way is to use Arduino and copy the IR codes but an all round solution is using a smart IR blaster 👍

Spoke to a nice man on the phone at Vanbitz. No Joy.

Thanks for that. The hunt goes on

Just looked this up and it seems to be the answer. Just need the remote to copy the signal.

Cheers

It definitely does work as I’ve ‘learned’ a number of remotes to the IR blaster and then linked by Smart Life account to Alexa so now I can open/close the skylights either via phone or Alexa and also wrote a number of routines which link smart thermometers into the loop so for example if the temperature rises to a set number, the roof windows close and the air-con starts👍

Phone again and ask for Ash

I own the business and we have them in stock. However, we don't do mail order as we are an installation business primarily and can't be arsed to wrap things up, pack them up and drive to the Post Office to send it

I have told Ash that I suggested that you as for him and he will deal with it for you

Big thank you to Eddie. All sorted now. (y)(y)

Yet again a big thank you to Eddie and to Ash at vanbitz. The remote arrived yesterday. Now to get a chance to use it. Off to work.
