I have seen a number of vans recently with the top vent in the roof rather than the side wall which seems more common and is indeed what I have. One would imagine that this enables the hot air to vent off easier. Anyone have experience and also how do you fit fans if you do have a roof vent or maybe they are redundant?

I have the roof vent on my bus. Removed the screws & lift off the cover.
Installed two 'computer' fans in top of the flue, connect up, replaced cover.
After fitting I noticed my beer was much cooler, which is more important than worrying about the food/milk going off
