Domestic winter vent covers - how to fit?

Hi all. I've put the dometic vent covers supplied with the van, in place. There are two plastic screw-type retainers at the bottom which I can't get to turn. Are they supposed to do so? I can't find a vid online that tells you how to fit them! Any help gratefully received. MoB

they should be horizontal aligned with the vent then once you put the cover in place turn 90 degrees.

Push the vent covers up from the bottom and they should clip into the top edge of the vent. The screw slots should be horizontal and then turn them through 90 degrees, clockwise, to lock them in position - just taken mine off, and then back on 10 minutes ago

Easy peasy....fit covers... make sure located at top and turn locating pins 90deg... dot to dot.. simples!!!!????

Thanks all. I realised the plugs weren’t in as far as they needed to go. Once they’d been pushed in a little more they turned anticlockwise without a problem.
