Hi Everyone and a MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all. Is there some kind soul among you with 2 pipe inserts for the 12mm pipes used to strengthen the connection when using speedfix connectors which they could post to me. The dealers around me do not have any and are reluctant to get any as they have to buy a large number. I can get them from Magnum but they will only sell me 10 @ £9.93:unsure: Derek

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
I'd just buy the ten (as others with 'spares' available may have done) and look upon it as if the two I needed were a fiver each.

What's the internal diameter of the pipe? Loads of inserts @ screwfix or toolstation.
I'm not a plumber but AFAIK they are interchangeable between brands. I have used different brands without leaks on mains fittings at much higher pressure than u will get on mh.

It's quite easy to find 15mm and 10mm inserts, but 12mm are a bit more specialised, at least in the UK.
A bit less expensive here:

80p for a stamp. 20p for an envelope. £3 for diesel to drive to the postbox. My time . Just to save you £10 I don’t think so
