Domestic fridge freezer thermostat (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone

We think that the thermostat on our dometic fridge freezer has failed. Even on the lowest setting all four lights remain lit on the temperature control and ice is forming in the fridge - frozen tomatoes in a salad are interesting :ROFLMAO:

Can anyone advise if replacing the thermostat is a DIY job or do we need professional help? If professional help is required do you think there will be anyone who could do such work at the Northern Show? As we set off for Ireland from there I would like to get this sorted as think if its stuck on high it will go through gas at a great rate! We are on electric hook up at present so not an issue.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

its a diy job on small fridges never looked at the bigger ones best to see if there an exploded drawing on the dometic site or remove the fridge vents to see if you can see what needs to be done generally theres a couple of wires and a probe to remove
