Hi my air con in my van doesn’t seem to work very well. When I start it up it seems ok then after a short while approx 15 mins it runs warm instead of cold any ideas please I’ve removed the cover inside and cleaned it out so I know it isn’t that

Check the fan and heat exchanger on the roof. The fins should be clear to see through and the fan should be blowing warm air out.

Check that it doesn't need re-gassing.

Shouldn’t need re-gassing as they “should” be hermetically sealed for life.

If it needs, re-charging with refrigerant. It’s for a reason, that is a leak that needs to be repaired.

Maybe your compressor is drawing high current ?

Agree that it shouldn't.
However a coolant leak could explain the symptoms.
Worth having it checked to eliminate this.
