I've signed, but, if it's a cross channel hop, then boycott the ferry companies and use Eurotunnel. We always travel this way for the very reason that we are not prepared to leave our dogs in the van/car during the crossing.

Calmac let you take your dog with you but you have to stay out on deck.

Whenever crossing think of the time of day, be aware of these things. Its important!

Always the tunnel with Meg. We only use the ferries for a day trip without dog. The car decks are unventilated and incredibly noisy, especially if its a bit rough with alarms going off. We have returned to our car and seen dogs going absolutely mad left in vehicles. We wouldn't ever consider it.
