used to be a bus driver in Bradford west yorks and a friend once said to an old lady "not going to charge you for that tiny dog" he said, "Oh, how kind said the old lady, but what do I do if an inspector gets on ?" she asked "No problem said he, pick it up by the scruff of the neck and wipe the window with it as if it's a cloth" ...... just a thought but would that work in Spain ???? (West Yorkshire Road Car Company by the way WYRCC Bradford)

I believe that you can take a dog on the bus in Spain but it has to weigh less than 10kg and it must be in a carry bag.

Just checked on this and it appears that certain regions allow dogs but others don't. You can take them on trains if less than 10kg and carried.

Also a problem in taxi's,if you need to use a taxi pre-book and ask if it's o/k.We usually ask a kindly bar person to do this and they will normally know which cabs will allow dogs. This also happens in Portugal.
