I have been using the same field to walk our staffies for years and can honestly say I have collected every 'dump' they have planted there, in snow, rain and the occasional sunshine,,,,,, always been careful that way.

Anyway, went over there last night and the farmer 'bless him' has only totally covered the field with his muck spreader - what a stink, the dogs looked horrified.

I think back to all the poop bags I have been through and the anguish of being scrupulously clean with the field - only for the farmer to cover the land in s^^te. :roflmto: I give up......

Ours go everywhere with us, they have a good life, give more than we can give them and are an integral part of our family - couldn't live without them, in fact one is by my feet snoring right now.

Well if nothing else Steve, your posts are always honest :Eeek:

Can't wait for you to meet my dog at Knutsford.

She's a therapy dog, can she fit in to your worthwhile dogs list?.

She's done wonders for robchelsea1 he can actually stroke a dog now and without pooping himself :thumb:

The very reason I acquired our first dog
rehomed a 6 mnth cocker she passed on at 12 yrs old

We then had brother and sister cross jack Russell's fo 11 years

Although I made house calls I had to ask for me and householders dog/s were kept apart

I am still not good with large dogs and staffs types

Back to what the original thread was about. We have two border collies. They are well exercised. During the week when we are at work they have a large kennel and run and are walked 3 times a day. When we are away they are our first concern. We will make sure they are well exercised( one is 14 years old) but when they need a bit of rest we will let them. We would never dream of leaving them un exercised and toileted. As was said before it is just asking for trouble and it would not be the dogs at fault. When heading to a site we try and exercise them before you get there as you can't let them off the lead on site, which is fair enough. So if we pull up and don't exercise them in front of you please rest assured that we have thought of them before ourselves. Site picked for this weekend has a dog friendly pub nearby that does food. Sorted. And if the weather holds it will be one night out then a BBQ . Everyone happy, including the dogs.:thumb::Smile::thumb:

Does your dog love you more than your wife? Well to find out follow these simple steps.

Shut wife and dog in the boot of your car.

Go and have a pint.

In one hour, return and let them both out!

Bet the dog loves you more!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
One thing to remember.
IF you do leave your dog in the car , ALWAYS remove its collar.
It can get caught on the seat swivel nob , and other protrusions etc.
Better to be safe than sorry.

Here we go then..............

What about people that let their kids run riot in public places?
Or let them scream and ignore them on whilst on some kind of public transport or in a restaurant whilst I'm trying to sweet talk SHMBO into a good mood ! !
It's not just dogs that need control..................

My wife is much better than me at reversing the van:Doh:

I am too impatient and as I tell her have had less practice looking in mirrors.::bigsmile:
