We have given our dog a cup of tea since he was a pup first thing in the morning.
Decaf especially for him if we forget to give him one he sits next to his bowl and barks and Howells.
And if we ignore him he brings the bowl and drops it at my feet.
Is this the sign of a spoiled dog.

Bill, our first Springer loved her tea. It was in the times of tea leaves, so people left the ‘slops’ in the bottom of cups.

She would always bring her bowl to us for the slops to be poured into, which was fine, but she also did it to any visitors too!

Definitely not spoiled!

If we sit outside my fave bar in town, a lovely lady brings leftovers for my pal from the restaurant next door. For about 5 years.
He had some checks a while ago and liver is sky high. Vet said too much meat.

Who'd have thought a dog can have too much meat.?

So now if she brings a bag out, I give him a bit and the rest to pals later.

This is a huge T-Bone steak he got once. And the contents of a big bag one night

Nothing wrong with spoiling a dog but ruining them, that’s a different matter. 😉😎

You have to watch the salt content as it’s usually quite high on meat cooked/grilled for human consumption.

I was very aware not to ruin him.
My phone app tells me that we've averaged 5.6 miles a day over the last year.
His weight is well.
He's 11 and fit and happy otherwise.

I thought that meat treats were better than the shite in tinned dog food

I run it under the tap to wash off any sauce residue or excess salt before feeding meat scraps to the dogs

Our 2 Jacks love a roast dinner that Mrs CC puts up for them, they also like tuna and rice.
Although they say a dog has no taste buds it’s good to vary their food I think😁

Can’t be that bad as they are both 15 and running around like nutters😁
