We plan to go over to Corfu later this year by ferry from Italy - no definite crossing point decided/arranged as yet, most of the the crossings are on average 8/9 hours. Has anyone done any crossings like this? Will we be able to keep our dog with us does anyone know?

That looks ideal but as far as I can see that's not an option to Corfu, please do correct me if I'm wrong (fingers crossed) !
If you got the ferry to Igoumenitsa you could then get the short ferry from there to Corfu. Or just forget Corfu and explore mainland Greece. :)
