We’re on an Aire in Spain. We’ve just settled down to go to sleep and there’s a dog howling in one of the motorhomes. There’s nothing you can do really but it’s sooooooo annoying.

Nothing worse than Music festivals or young un’s playing music to annoy.. as previous post ear plugs are a man’s best friend ?. hope you get a decent nights sleep zzzzz

You obviously didn't appreciate that the Spanish don't usually go to bed until at least midnight so if they're out on the razz you could be awake for a while! :giggle:

Both you and I have a nasty streak ......

Thank goodness.

?
I think Vanish can get rid of streaks ... especially nasty ones!

Do you have a generator for that (very) early morning charge
If you put it next to their motorhome the noise will be less intrusive tp you

We’ve noticed that almost everywhere you go in Spain, there will be a dog howling or barking.

None of the motorhomes are Spanish! I don’t know which one had the dog but there are three UK, Belgian, German, two Swedish and a French one. It sounded like a small dog, so probably the French one. ?

what language was it howling in?
I reckon it was Woofish, with a touch of gruffishness as well. The dog may well have been raised in Barking, where all dogs seem to be a tad mad. I will take a pause now, and pad off to a tail end.

We had one on a campsite, it went on for 6 hours while this Belgian couple went out with their friends.
So Janie put a note on the motorhome explaining that the dog has been barking, and if you had said we would have looked after it. :D2
Anyway they came back full of :wine::wine::wine: and who put this on my motorhome, :Eeek: everyone said Janie, anyway he had a bit of a go, and said you only have to bang on the motorhome and say shut up Micky.

? So that's what we do now, and they either shut up.........

Or rip the remis blinds to bits.?? Bob.

At least with a MH you can change the Aire. :)

Once upon a time in the pre-campervan days we spent a week in a rural Gite. The nearest neighbour was a deaf old lady who allowed her farmer son to keep his pack of hunting dogs in one of her outbuildings.

Every night the dog pack kept waking us up by barking and howling. On and off for most of the night. The local Basil Brush was probably going past deliberately every half hour just to wind them up.

You know, that is a brilliant idea (y) (y) (y), a cat may have nine lives but a remicidal dog??...about one I would think:clap2::clap2:love it Bob.
