Just had a startling thought; the van is in storage about 10 miles from home. It is hooked up to the mains with a timer that gives the van power for three hours a day. Batterymaster fitted.
I was told by a fellow homer, who shares the storage, that I should turn off the master switch as a precaution to prevent, for example, the water pump turning on if it's faulty. So I have turned the master switch off. But now am wondering whether by doing so, the battery charger may also be turned off. In which case, I'll have flat batteries in a few days.
Is my understanding, that I may have turned off the battery charger, correct?
