Never leave a campsite with your clothes line tied to a lamp post.
We have an Autosleeper 2007 Nuevo on a Boxer chassis. Both front and rear sidelights have stopped working on the nearside although the bulbs look perfect. I've gone through both the Autosleeper and the Peugeot handbooks for the location of the fuse. I can find a reference to every single bit of electrical equipment on the vehicle EXCEPT the sidelights. Anyone got any ideas...???

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.

Vehicle fuses have redundancy built in, this ensure that a vehicle doesn't suffer complete failure of sidelights or headlights, therefore the sidelights would be extremely unlikely to all go out at once & as the op says one side has failed.

So it really does sound like a fuse has gone.

Can't help with location of fuse though.

Another vote with ambulancekid , fuses are normally sided , so one side going suggests a fuse. My van is on a Ducato chassis and a fuse box sits at front of engine. There will probably be another some where, but I'll find that when I need it. There might be a fusebox at one side of the dash, or behind the glovebox if you have one.
Hope you find the box/ boxes, let us know.

Since 2005 this time
I have on our K reg A/Sleeper a switch on the dash that if operated turns off the N/S "parkers" and leaves the O/S on.
Tiz for parking on the roadside at night, perhaps you have the same

Tiz in the middle of the dash and is the same as the Rear Fog light in appearance.

More than toes wet now!
If you have the optional fusebox at the bottom of the right hand door pillar try F58. According to the Fiat Ducato handbook it's a 10A fuse that protects the sidelights. Might be same for for Peugeot Boxer?

if you can disconnect the battery easily do it for a couple of minutes and after reconnecting see if the warning light is off then get someone to watch lights while you turn on and see if they momentarily come on before the warning light comes on.as it is probably the canbus system turning that side off

Chatteris,

I think you win the star prize as is the bloody Canbus thingy (whatever that is) that has been confusing the issue. As far as I can tell the reason we could not find the sidelight fuses is quite simply because there 'aint any. By removing the O/S/R light cluster the O/S/F sidelight started working. Someone then kindly tested the (brand new) Stop / Tail bulb and found it was shorting out between the filaments and therefore showing the sidelight circuit an overload. A new bulb has done the trick. Many thanks to all the Funsters who have tried to help,

The Tincas
