Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
Please can anyone help?
I'm trying to find a new awning light to replace the one on our motorhome.
So far my search has been fruitless. I trawl through E Bay regularly but no joy. There is a large crack on the awning light which we have.
One further question, can anyone tell me which type of bulb goes into this type of light?

The photo is one that I got from the net, the one on our motorhome project is an awful lot cleaner than the one in the photo below, but it is otherwise identical.

Could you give some idea of the size of it?

looks like a sidelight ,or reversing light been utilised to its present function . Cant quite read the makers mark on the lens . That would be a starting point . Bulb , could be festoon , ba15s or Ba15d or even a ba9s :)

Does it have to be the same as that or could you fit one with a larger footprint to cover over the existing lights fixing holes ?

I'll need to measure it up, but it has quite a broad footprint.

Could you give some idea of the size of it?

I'll measure it tomorrow & post my findings.

I believe its made by Britax but I'm not sure of that, I'll have time to remove it tomorrow & find out who made it.

Looks like a 1980's caravan awning light don't appear to be available anymore.

I seem to remember awning lights like these on older caravans. Our motorhome is a year 2000 Autosleeper Executive.

I just googled Caravan Breakers Lancashire and Liverpool Caravan Breakers came up.

I can't copy links on my phone but they had lots of bits and pieces .. may be worth a look.. Postage should only be about £2.90.

Daughter #2 has and old caravan with one of those on, which suggests as someone else said, it is a caravan unit

Ok Update, I've removed the light & although it has a large footprint, there isn't a big mark left where it was, so I've ordered a new awning light & some nice LED lights to reduce power usage.

Many thanks to all who have helped me grapple with this issue. (y)

If there was an ugly mark where it had been you can always fit a polished stainless cover plate then the new light on top of that(y) someone had over tightened the bolts on this before we got it & distorted the surrounding area, so stainless plate fitted.
