Does anybody own hymer B880

just about to order hymer B880 and was looking for advice

We love it. Picked it up 1st September 2021 after ordering it in September 2020. So far we have done over 3000 miles in it.

Had a couple of minor niggles but nothing that has warranted a return to the dealers.

We uprated the engine to the 170bhp variant and have found that despite its size & weight it travels along quite well and I find it quite enjoyable to drive despite it being our 1st Motorhome having rented 3 different one previously.

I rented roller team last may and went to Isle of Wight had absolutely great week fell in love with touring
and when I got back I ordered roller team Pegaso 740 which I got in October. We live in Dorset so have had some really great weekends
The only problem is the toilet and bathroom seam very small. I like the layout of the B880 so local dealer has one available in October this year

It’s our first Motorhome and I must say I was a bit concerned about the size but it’s been absolutely fine

Is there anything you can recommend to have fitted on it.
I'm thinking of having tow hitch fitted.

We ticked every option except the tow hitch as we won’t be towing and the satellite dish as we stream everything.

did you have the oven or the induction ring and toast grill above the fridge
have you had the jacks

We went for the induction ring and toast oven which we are really pleased with. The induction ring heats the kettle & pans up to a hotter level than the gas rings.

We also went for the Goldschmitt levelling jacks…wouldn’t be without them

Yes, when we were staying at Jim ‘s place.

All worked fine

does it use the normal plug sockets or are there special ones

You can use any of the sockets

We bought a new B898 in 2017 the dealer had it more than us! Sold it at 3 years old
