You would improve road saftey more if you did that with under 30 year olds.So, if safety is paramount, then surely we should have annual driving tests for the Over-65s? Just to make sure of course...
I don't see that, the amount of vehicles over 40 years old is minimal compared to the total amount of cars on the road.I do agree with Tam, these rules are only being proposed to slow/stop the second hand car market, as new electric car sales are poor & the government needs everyone out of their older cars asap
And if it does get rid of unsafe old bangers it must be a good thing.
