Do You Live In The Newbury Area?- Painted Furniture!

We are in to revamping our house and would like some painted furniture, as we have very few outlets in this part of the South West. We are wondering any body living in the Newbury area could suggest an outlet near there, so that we can visit while at the Newbury Show.

A few years ago there was a fashion to buy up cheap painted pine furniture and strip off the paint to reveal the wood. Now the fashion is to get nice wooden furniture and paint it, often badly, and charge the earth for it.
I wonder if some of it is the same furniture in it's third incarnation.
