I am making up a device, similar to the Camperstop ones to provide some security for my SIL's PVC.
The vehicle is remote from me and I need to make a bracket with a hole in it like the one shown in the attached pictures.

Would any kind Funsters be able to check the sliding door buffer on their door and let me know:-

1) Distance between the fixings.
2) Vertical height of the complete block.
3)Thread size of the fixings and underhead length of thread.

I can then make a bracket to fit later.
Thank you.

I live in st Johns so if you are passing you could come and measure.
Have to be in next few days though.
Pm me

Allen screws. mate , was going to take one out to measure but feels like it may have a nut rather than an insert welded in , don’t want that dropping down inside the door 😲.

My guess from the above photos is the bolts are at 80mm centres, on the assumption it will be a round number. It's a bit tricky to be exact because of parallax. I would drill the holes out to 10mm which should cover any inaccuracies. I also doubt you need to fit longer bolts for such a thin plate but without removing the bolts it won't be possible to be certain.

80mm centres yes , mate Allen bolt , feels like a nut on inside rather than threaded insert , hence not taking it out to measure as it may drop down inside the door 😲

Keeps changing M 8 to flipping Mate !

Thank you all.
An excellent job.
The kit from Camperprotect has two longer bolts to secure their bracket and the buffer so I don't think there will be loose bolts (famous last words)
They will probably be weld nuts , these are projection welded on or some other caged nut.

Mine came with longer bolts but the ones I took out to fit the plate were long enough.
