Oh yes you do.:thumb: We use the wire mesh griddle for bbq-ing on our cadac and it's only the fat dripping onto the hot surface below and flare ups that gives you that taste. The charcoal itself does nothing to improve taste, you would need wood chips for that.::bigsmile:

Oh the joys of a good barbie

Sausages burnt on the outside, raw in the middle.
Half cooked chicken legs in crispy skin.
Shish kebabs massacred at one end, salmonella at the other.

Mmmm, cant beat it. Almost makes me want to go to Mcdonalds :Eeek:

we decided to go gas as travelling abroad several years ago couldnt use naked flame on many campsites. We have a cadac and love it though rather bulky.:Cool:
