Do we take local currency or a cash card (1 Viewer)

We are planning a trip to Denmark/Sweden/Norway and were wondering if we should take currency or a card that you can load with cash and use a cashpoint.

We used € in Denmark for the little time we were there, they would take them but not give change, credit card was OK though.

I rarely take more than a small amount of local currency in those countries. Just enough to tide me over in case of emergencies. Its a card whenever and wherever I can.

Incidentally, the currency in Denmark is Danish Crowns (DKK) not Euros.
