All the gauges on 2011 Advantage 6501B display panel have suddenly stopped displaying. Electrics seem to be working fine and I can switch to 12v. Any ideas what the problem could be? TIA.

Section 3.2 of the manual?
Switching on and off
" Briefly press the ”12V On/Off” button.
F The indicator LED illuminates.
F The 12V living area supply is switched on.
" Briefly press the ”12V On/Off” button again.
F The indicator LED goes out.
F The 12V living area supply is switched off.
Y If the MP 20-S display panel will not switch on, this is because:
F If, after pressing the ”12V On/Off” button, the ”11.0V” LED and symbol
”V” flash, the battery voltage of the living area battery is low. See sec￾tion 3.5.1.
F If, after pressing the ”12V On/Off” button, the indicator LED, the ”Li￾ving Area Battery” symbol and the alarm display flash three times,
battery isolation is enabled. This must first be stopped. See section
3.6.2.
The 12V supply of the living area is switched on/off via the ”12V On/Off” but￾ton. Exceptions:
F Heater
F Floor light/step
F Frost protection valve
F Other circuits are excluded if required
(see instruction manual of EBL ... electrobloc)
These consumers are still operable even when the 12V power supply is swit￾ched off.
Y The system must be switched on using the ”12V On/Off” button on the
display panel to first start up these consumers after the electrobloc has
been switched off by the battery isolator (see section 3.6.2) or by the bat￾tery monitor (see section 3.5.1), after a battery change or after connec￾tion of the living area battery after a long break.

Thanks for this Burgo. Is this from the Schaudt manual? It's been in the barn, unconnected to mains for a couple of weeks but has been outside for the past three days - and has a solar panel. All habitation electrics are working fine. I'm not getting '11V LED and symbol flash', nor am I getting 'symbol and the alarm display flash three times.'

Thanks again Burgo. I just edited my reply - not getting any of the symptoms.

Dunno! My next thoughts would be that if the panel turns the 12v on and off then the connection between it and the EBL must be OK.
So... Its just the display.
Is there a fuse on the EBL that feeds the display? Does the EBL manual show a powere feed to the display? If not, where does the display get is power from??
Section 4.2 of the EBL manual NB this from the mod 102 manual)
If an overload or an insufficiently charged leisure area battery causes the
voltage to fall so low that the automatic disconnector is triggered, any non￾essential consumers should be switched off.
If need be, the 12V supply can begin operation for a short time. In this case
the 12 V main switch on the DT ... control and switch panel must be swit￾ched on.
However, if the battery voltage remains below 11.0 V, the 12 V power supply
can not be turned back on.
Fully charge the leisure area battery as soon as possible. For more informa￾tion, refer to the ”Battery voltages” interpretation in the associated DT/LT ...
control and switch panel instruction manual.

Appreciate your help. Can I recharge leisure battery by simply connecting 240v electrical hook up?

I plugged in last night and this morning the panel is back on and showing the leisure battery as fully charged. However, the panel only works when 12V is switched on and I can't remember if this is right - ie. the fresh water and waste tank gauges only display if 12V is switched on. Is this right? I thought they used to display when 12V was turned off. Maybe it was always like that.

Yes. The panel only works when the 12v button is on. Sounds like it's now all sorted.

Once I'd thought it all through I realised that of course it doesn't display when 12V switched off. I think I got off lightly and will not leave mh off mains for long periods again. Surprised solar wasn't able to put a good charge into the leisure battery. Thanks again for your help Burgo.
