If they are having to maintain them all it is no wonder they went skint.. serves em right trying to block everyone else in the game.. Might sound harsh but having been on the wrong side of this situation ( with oddly enough the controlling company also going to the wall ) when I see it I do get a bit mardy to say the least

And that peter, is the crux of the matter mate..
You offer a decent service, have a good reputation, why would you need dozens of semi related web sites unless you had to rely on people trying NOT to find you in the first place ( if you see what I mean !!! )

There a couple of domains there that might be worth a bit, esp. insurance.co.uk. most of the others seem worthless.

Discover had big ideas to take over the internet accessories market, problem was they did not have the stock and did not pay their bills.

There are a number of internet leisure suppliers now in big trouble cash wise due to the drop in sales, one big seller using ebay has just gone bust.
