Not Long Enough...!!
Been trying a few things to bring back faded, discolored plastics on the Rv. And as being Beige it's not just the Black stuff in a bottle, which is not that good anyway and messy.

So scoured the web and a couple of things came up as cheap remedies.

So have tried them and pleased with outcome.

First I did the Heatgun which you carefully run over the plastic and it brings the colour back, but a little blotchy as do not want to melt it. Did a decent job and colour comes back

Then done the Oil and Thinners mix. Really pleased with outcome. Also used some on car plastics and they have come out decent

Costs.
Heatgun job. What ever lecci used

Oil and Thinners job.

You MUST USE Boiled Linseed Oil, normal is not suitable and Standard Thinners.

Boiled Linseed Oil £5 from Wickes. 500ml.
Standard Thinners 5 ltr from Zoro under £8. Free shipping over £20 so got other stuff at same time. Needed Thinners for doing some painting anyway.

Mix oil and thinner 50 / 50. Mask off area and brush on, leave for while then rub over with clean cloth.

Sorry no before and after shots, which thought of after doing the job.
Hope this info may be to use for you.

Fair enough and thank you. The only plastics I have on the outside are basically the bumpers and I had them sprayed last year.
