Dinner near Calais.

We are arriving via the tunnel on late Monday afternoon, as it’s my birthday we want to find somewhere to park up for the night and then find somewhere interesting to walk to for dinner, I’ve looked at parking up and walking into Sangatte .....any other suggestions? T.I.A.

Looks like it's a Logis. We actively seek those out, as they often do very good food at reasonable prices.

There is a nice free aire in Wissant. 5 minutes walk into the village with a few nice eating establishments. We always stay there. It’s about 10 km west of Calais.

Camping La Bien Assise has a very nice restaurant on site and is a decent site as well, less than 10 minutes from Calais

We're planning to be in Gravelines next monday pm and were hoping to eat at L'eclusier, but never mind. We've previously eaten at the one around the basin but its gone downhill lately. Ive been also recommended to the Bellfroi but is it open Monday's I wonder

If you want a real treat park up at the Aire near the docks in Calais and walk to "Le Channel" on Le Boulevard de la Resistance. Not cheap but food is excellent. You may well need to book a table though.

The seafood restaurant near the Aire in Sangatte is very good, ate there twice last year once on way out and again on way back, you can book online for it. Oh and never saw a migrant any of the times we have used the Aire!!!
