Is it possible to dim the interior lights in my motorhome

If LED I believe they need to be dimmable and you need a dimmer unit.

It depends on many things. If LED unlikely but still possible depending on the actual device. If Tungsten or Halogen, probably.

Sometimes the easiest way is just reduce the number of lights working, or exchange for lower wattage units.

If LED on the fridge, a well placed teatowel works well.

Hi.
It says in the hand book you can in ours... . " Ask me one on Sport......
Tea Bag

I’d rather make mine brighter!

Check out ATEN lighting, they have a small dimmer for LED, I have one and it works fine. There are similar on Amazon. Very low cost and easy to connect / wire up.
There are no issues with dimming LED’s. My main strip lights have touch dimmers built in, again from Aten lighting.

  • Nice One!

On my previous Autotrail the switch was a round push in / out type. It did look like you could turn it BUT it didnt.

5 YEARS LATER !!!!!! I discovered that if you held your finger on it then the lights dimmed

My current Burstner is the same using the control panel, only took me 1 year to work that one out. (y)

This must be the dimmer for our outside LED under the awning, the others must dim through the CBE control system I think.

Most LED's in motorhomes are fine with a dimmer it's the mains powered ones that dont always work.
Less than a fiver for a remote controlled dimmer on eBay they work well.

I was going to say the same did not know our Carthago had dimmable leds as they were not factory fitted and one day I just left my finger on it for a few seconds and found out they were.

Our Laika has dimmable and colour changing leds from the main lighting panel.
