Does anyone know if Digital TVs with freeview work ok using American RVs Aerial

personally i dont think they will work on a purely digital signal but will work on the current anologue/digi signal.

depends if your area has changed over to digi yet.

assuming you are talking about the winegard sensar aerial, when set up correctly it works very well with freeview boxes, if it doesn't work correctly there are 1 or 2 common faults.
We run 2 boxes off one aerial with no problem at all, you do have to be in a good signal area, with digital it either works well or not at all, stratford is a good example at the motorhome show, virtually no signal at all.

current power levels are fluctuating, at home we go from 100+ channels one day to 20 the next power levels drop every evening, when we eventually turn digital instead of a mixed system we hope power levels will increase. Until then a preamp for the correct frequencies is a must. Good luck to us all. Personally I think it will result in an unreliable terrestrial service.
