Does anyone know if Digital TVs with freeview work ok using American RVs Aerial
have a read of this thread.....may be of some help. HERE
take note of the post regarding turning the booster supply on.
personally i dont think they will work on a purely digital signal but will work on the current anologue/digi signal.
depends if your area has changed over to digi yet.
man of few words tonight Geo.....got a sore throat..:Rofl1::Rofl1:
assuming you are talking about the winegard sensar aerial, when set up correctly it works very well with freeview boxes, if it doesn't work correctly there are 1 or 2 common faults.
We run 2 boxes off one aerial with no problem at all, you do have to be in a good signal area, with digital it either works well or not at all, stratford is a good example at the motorhome show, virtually no signal at all.
current power levels are fluctuating, at home we go from 100+ channels one day to 20 the next power levels drop every evening, when we eventually turn digital instead of a mixed system we hope power levels will increase. Until then a preamp for the correct frequencies is a must. Good luck to us all. Personally I think it will result in an unreliable terrestrial service.
our signal is too weak where we stay for ANY decent picture, so dug out the sky dish:thumb:
