Self service station by Carrefour Benidorm today at € 1.019 ( 77 p ) , cheapest in the area apparently.

Local store, yesterday 0.98cents per litre average around the 1.10 euro. Loads of MH filling up from all over EU, nice to see whilst sitting waiting for other half.

Euro was at £1 euro 1.34 overnight last night so with a clean card and no charges that makes it well worth the drive, then add in sunshine and cerveza!

This thread just seems like gloating.. Yoo hoo we're off to Spain! but coming back if it's more than a euro!

As I mentioned in another thread oil is paid for in US dollars so the price would be cheaper still in Europe if the dollar euro exchange rate was better which given the current uncertainties in the EU isn't going to change soon. If the price of oil returned to historic levels it would make it much more expensive in Europe.
