We have just come back from Portugal through northern Spain and up through France and it is about the same in Portugal as it is in Spain around the 1.40....to ..1.42 and yes France is at the moment the cheapest around 1.37..to 1.39...but if you in the Poitiers region, La Rochelle, Limogues, Angouleme, st Nazaire,...we found it around 1.34.. to ..1.36 euros per ltre:thumb:

Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Sadly it won't, as car makers start to give us models that give better mpg,the government will see a drop in duty and put the prices up to compensate.

We don't worry too much about where we buy our fuel, although it is nice when it is really cheap, like in Luxembourg.:thumb:

Doing only 4-5K a year, the cost of filling up pales into insignificance compared to other running costs and depreciation!

Seanoo..in the Poitiers region, La Rochelle, Limogues, Angouleme, st Nazaire,..it always is around 4c to 6cents cheaper than other regions...maybe some large Oil Refineries close by at St Nazaire and they don't have far to transport it..::bigsmile:.

So if you are going past that region and have enough in your tank 9/10 its maybe worth waiting :thumb:

I agree with you Jon.. if you are only doing that small amount milage.....it's not worth bothering about the cost of diesel, you would do more milage going to the filling stations:thumb:...what's that about 6 tanks full
