Has anyone gone through Dover or Folkestone in the last 24 hours and can advise whether diesel is freely available, or have they started running short too?
(we're off to France Thursday midday and want to go with topped up tank).
TIA.

I can’t help you but maybe you can let me know if there’s plenty of diesel at Dover as I travel Friday
We’re on the boat now; topped up at Maidstone services, all pumps working but it’s 199.9. The BP garage in Dover was open and showing 189.9 so I’d go for that if I were you. Happy travels…

We are also crossing tomorrow, Friday, and will be topping up as late as possible before the crossing.

We are off next Tuesday and got to admit it's a concern.

The total strike is in France not uk

But everyone is likely to be filling up before crossing.

Tesco in Folkestone then in through the back entrance.

It doesn't look like the Fuel Crises in France will get better any time soon. The fact that the Gov is threatening fines & or Prison to those workers not returning to work will be an eye opener, imagine us trying that one on with our unions.

We filled up at Tesco Cheriton just before we got on the train last night, no issues. No obvious problem at the BP in Dover either.

We did that last time we went abroad and the price was horrendous, much more than other places even in the UK but we had some Tesco vouchers we needed to use so had no choice ... we were well miffed!
