Dieppe campsites (1 Viewer)

hi all,
We are travelling to France in our motorhome last week in June, our ferry arrives in Dieppe around 9.30pm. I see the local campsites latest arrival time is 7pm so can anyone suggest any options for an overnight stay, we will head south the next morning.thanks

Hi John as you come off the ferry there is an aire 2 minutes away with some hook ups and water and toilet disposal point, I was there a few weeks back and if that one is full there is another one over the other side of the harbour entrance.

As you come off the boat and out of the docks turn right at the roundabout, drive along with the cliffs on your left and the aire is along on your left.

You can overnight in the port carpark. It's what we deid a couple of weeks ago when we arrived on the late ferry. It was a quiet night with no ferries coming or going.

We came back from dieppe two days ago, arrived early and thought we might stop on one of the Aires for a few hours, they were both absolutely full so no go at all. It was a Saturday afternoon, if that makes any difference. So I would suggest having a backup Aire that is a little outside of Dieppe. The campercontact app has a few around there...
We stopped the night before on a great camping a la ferme about half an hour away from the port, but not sure if you could arrive late to that one.

There are 2 places (car parks) at Le Petit Appeville alongside the D925 road heading out of Dieppe towards Hautot s Mer...

We stayed at the one in the first link and it was fine just for a quick overnighter.
The second link looks good as well and its by the river but can't vouch for that one.

Thanks for all the replies.....we got into the aire at the ferry....it was busy but we got a space
