Dethleffs Trend
I've recently acquired a Dethleffs Trend T (2020) and have located the TV aerial connection (F type) along with the 240v and 12V sockets just above the fold out TV bracket, to the left of the door. I've determined the TV aerial connector (marked SAT) has a aerial cable connected to it, which disappears in to the wiring loom and construction of the vehicle, but where is the other end? Where can you connect either a sat dish, or more importantly to me, a TV aerial? Any pointers appreciated.

Did you ever find out ?
Interested if you did

Ours is in the cupboard above the fridge. The panel is just clipped in so we added a handle to make access easier because our motorhome WiFi is also in there. 20240728_225421.jpg20240728_225305.jpg

You need some conviction.
It is just poppers but it doesnt feel like it.
I feel confident in doing it now
A trim remover would be ideal if you have one
If not ..... A pair of long nose pliers, opened out as far as they go, put them over to one side (at the bottom against the freezer) and potentially with a tea towel against the fridge (just to stop anxiety) and your point of contact on the pliers will be nearer the inside of the cupboard.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a try, does it require a lot of pressure?

It takes more nerves than anything. Once its been done once you ll be wondering what you were concerned about

You do think you are going to break it. Did mine (opened it not broke it) with exactly same questions as you about 3 months ago (Trend 2022)

OK, mines a 2017, but hopefully it's fitted the same as yours, many thanks again, I will try to be brave and keep fingers crossed.

Brilliant, that helps a lot. Many thanks.
Something flatter than then pliers as the point does the tiniest of marks (in the wood) which is not noticeable apart from you knowing it is there. I only just spotted it.

OK, I'll give it a go with the trim remover, great video and you've helped me out a lot. Thanks again.

+1 for Suavecarve 's info above. Also, that space above the fridge is used on our Dethleffs Globebus T7 to house the TV aerial amp which is used to boost the TV signal.

Hi, how did you remove the above fridge locker cover to access the aerial before you fitted the handle. I don't want to damage my vent.
The panel on ours has a small cut out at top left hand corner to accommodate the small runners for the side curtain on the raised bed so was easy to pop it off.
