Hi,
Has anyone experienced the cutlery draw handle becoming too hot to touch whist the oven is on?
I know there is a pull out shield that looks like it should deflect the heat but it doesn't, the handle has become so hot that I think the screws securing it have lost their hold on the drawer so eventually handle falls off.
Looking closely at the oven it looks slightly offset so I am wondering if it has not been fitted squarely or maybe they are all like it.
Has anyone come across this situation please?

We have this years model and it is the same, although we have not yet experienced the handle falling off. Time will tell.

Thanks for your reply Archie maybe its just a design fault, I will be asking them to look at it when its having its annual service.

I will certainly keep an eye on ours as it has potential to be very dangerous.

We found a very narrow shield that pulled ever so slightly just above the handle. HTH

We have the same model so we will keep our fingers out of the way....
We rarely use the oven, usually just to heat croissant for breakfast, a relaxed affair so the handle would be cold when we have finished and done the washing up.....
