Our Dethleffs Trend water pump has failed again, I was prepared as I had a replacement in the van, but it is a fiddle to change when on holiday.
So this is the third pump that has been installed in five years, our last van a Hymer we had for over ten years with no problems so what is causing the failures of the Comet Lux-plus pumps. We have not run the pumps without water in the tank so it is not this, are they poor quality?
I have met other Dethleffs who have also had to change their pumps. What other pumps can be fitted that are more reliable?
