Details on V5 (1 Viewer)

On the V5 for my Hymer the make is shown as Hymermobil B584.

Its based on a Fiat Ducato, and the VOSA MOT system shows it as a Fiat Ducato, which is what shows on the MOT.

Is this correct - I would have though the V5 would have shown Fiat as well.

My V5 shows Fiat for my Hymer B564. I doubt that it is important whether it states Hymer or Fiat.

All down to what the registering dealer writes when they fill in the registration forms.

The main reason why so many 3500kg plus vans are registered wrongly as sub 3500kg

Chances are, if the dealer wrote HENS EGG in the make section you would be driving a hens egg according to your V5.

Ours was registered as disabled, took ages to get sorted out and tax.
