New to owning, have hired once.
Purely out of interest....
Is it possible to deregister a vehicle?

Possible scenario... vehicle gets sold and registered and then for some reason the sale falls through.

Is it possible to wipe the slate clean on a vehicle and remove all previous history and start anew?

Thanks,
Tim.

I'm sure it can .... We bought our moho on the understanding it could be downplated to 3500Kg ... On the way home, with nothing extra aboard, it I put it on a weighbridge with the result it was already well over 3500Kg so no way it could be downplated.

I immediately called the dealer, who's first suggestion was that I could return the vehicle and he would "unwind the deal and deregister it".
