Well that was a good start to the day! Went 4 miles to Fiat garage to find out if spare wheel carrier can be fitted. That was a no, though I still think it can. Mechanic didn’t seem to sure! Driving 4 miles home stuck in 2nd gear 4 times. (Automatic have to stop and start engineas gear stick not responsive).
Two weeks Holiday now cancelled as Fiat can’t fit it in until 3rd September and this is the 3rd time been in booked in for the same fault.
NOT HAPPY. Van only done 620 miles.

I assume at just 620 miles it's a new vehicle and that's not your mileage since buying.
If so then forget Fiat dealer and play hell with the motorhome dealer, it's their responsibility to sort it.

Not good as John says dealer you bought it from is responsible get him to lean on a Fiat dealer. Tell him you will reject it it doesn't get sorted.

Go to a proper commercial truck garage don’t mess around with the so called Fiat professional that are normally just car dealers that do a few Vans .
Don’t let them fob you off phone around normally Iveco truck garages do Fiat too and most are open 24 hours a day

The van was new in October, it’s On a standard Ducato Chassis with comfortmatic gearbox.

The dealer has already spoken to the Fiat garage as it’s still under warranty.

I know you can't reply.
The reason a wheel carrier couldn't be fitted may be because your grey or fresh tanks may be where the carrier would normally fit.
The chassis will have specific mounting points.

Only 620 miles from new, don't cancel holiday, ask for a replacement van or full compensation required for all losses.
They have an obligation to replace, especially if not first time it has happened.
Sit in van outside their front doors until it is sorted.
